Terms of Service
Last updated 19 September 2026
These terms cover your use of Flixerpay at flixerpay.com and app.flixerpay.com. By signing in with Uphiva you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Flixerpay never holds your money. We record what a campaign is worth and who has earned it. Every naira moves on the Uphiva rail, between your Uphiva wallet and the brand's. Flixerpay is not a bank, does not take deposits, does not transmit money and does not lend. The one thing we charge for directly is a Flixerpay subscription, collected by Paystack.

1. What Flixerpay is
Flixerpay is a Nigerian social-campaign marketplace. A brand posts a campaign with a brief and a bounty. A creator claims it, makes the post, and submits the deliverable. The brand approves the work and the bounty is released.
Flixerpay is a venue and a set of tools. We are not a party to the agreement between a brand and a creator, we do not employ creators, and a creator is not an agent, employee or contractor of Flixerpay. We do not guarantee that any campaign will be claimed, that any work will be approved, or that any creator or brand is suitable for the other.
2. Your account
You sign in with Uphiva. Your Uphiva account is your Flixerpay identity. There is no separate Flixerpay password, and we never ask for one. Uphiva's own terms govern that account and your wallet.
- You must be 18 or older and able to enter a contract.
- Keep your Uphiva credentials to yourself. Activity under your account is treated as yours.
- One person, one account. Do not create accounts to evade a suspension, inflate a leaderboard, or claim the same campaign twice.
- A workspace may be a brand or a creator, and you are responsible for everyone you invite into yours.
3. Campaigns, claims and bounties
For brands
- Your brief must be accurate and lawful, and must state what you actually want made.
- A campaign must be funded on the Uphiva rail before creators are asked to work on it.
- Review submitted work within the window shown on the campaign. Approve or reject in good faith. Rejecting work that meets the brief, and then using it anyway, is a breach of these terms.
- You may not ask for anything outside the brief as a condition of approval.
For creators
- Claim only campaigns you intend to complete, and deliver what the brief asks for by the deadline.
- The work must be yours. Do not submit someone else's content, content you do not have the rights to, or engagement you bought.
- Keep the post up for any minimum period the campaign states.
- Follow the advertising rules of the platform you post on, and the law, including clearly disclosing that a post is paid or sponsored. That obligation is yours, not the brand's and not ours.
4. Money, fees and who holds what
| Funding a campaign | Brand to Uphiva. Flixerpay links you out and records the result. |
|---|---|
| Releasing a bounty | Uphiva wallet to Uphiva wallet, on the brand's approval. |
| Creator fees | A take rate on approved work, deducted on the Uphiva rail. The rate depends on your plan and is shown before you claim. |
| Brand subscription | A flat fee for access to Flixerpay, charged by Paystack. This is our own product revenue. |
| Card details | Held by Paystack. Flixerpay never stores a card number. |
Current prices and take rates are shown in the app before you are charged or before you claim. We may change them, and we will tell you before a change affects you. A subscription renews until you cancel it; cancelling stops the next renewal and does not refund the period you are in, except where the law says otherwise.
Amounts may be displayed in US dollars when you are outside Nigeria. Unless a price is stated as a dollar price, the naira figure is the real one and the dollar figure is an estimate at that day's rate.
5. Your content and who may use it
You keep ownership of what you make. Nothing here transfers copyright in your work to Flixerpay.
- When a brand approves and pays for your deliverable, you grant that brand a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce and display that deliverable to promote itself, unless the campaign brief agrees something different in writing. Anything broader (exclusivity, whitelisting, paid amplification, use beyond the campaign) must be agreed in the campaign or separately.
- Flixerpay receives a limited licence to host, store, reformat and display your content where it is needed to run the service: showing a campaign on the board, generating a share card, rendering your profile.
- You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload, including music, footage and anyone appearing in it.
6. Rules for everyone
Do not use Flixerpay to:
- post anything unlawful, defamatory, hateful, sexual involving minors, or that harasses somebody;
- promote scams, fake investment schemes, counterfeit goods, or anything you may not lawfully advertise in Nigeria;
- buy or sell engagement, use bots, or misrepresent your audience;
- take a campaign off-platform to avoid fees after meeting through Flixerpay;
- scrape the service, attack it, probe it, or work around its limits;
- file false reports, or abuse the moderation queue against a competitor.
7. XP and Flexcoin
Approved work earns XP and Flexcoin. These are not money. They have no cash value from Flixerpay, cannot be exchanged for cash by us, and are not a stored balance. Flexcoin is redeemed inside Uphiva on whatever terms Uphiva sets. We may correct or remove XP and Flexcoin awarded in error or gained by breaking these rules, and leaderboard seasons reset.
8. WhatsApp TV listings
If you list a WhatsApp TV channel, the subscriber numbers, rates and delivery details you give must be true and current. Verification by Flixerpay means we checked what we could see at the time. It is not a guarantee to a brand about reach or results. Hiring a channel is arranged directly with its owner and paid on the Uphiva rail.
9. Studio and connected accounts
Studio plans, drafts and publishes social content for you. When you connect a social account you authorise Flixerpay to act on it as you instruct: scheduling and publishing the posts you create. You remain bound by that platform's own terms, and a platform may restrict or disconnect automated posting at any time, which can stop scheduled posts going out. Disconnect an account at any time in Studio.
Some features draft captions with AI. Suggestions are a starting point: you are responsible for what you publish, including any claim it makes.
10. Moderation, suspension and disputes
Platform staff may hide a campaign, refuse a verification, or suspend an account that breaks these terms or the law. A report on its own hides nothing. A person decides. Where we can, we will tell you why and how to respond.
If a brand and a creator disagree about whether work meets a brief, raise it in the campaign thread first. Flixerpay may look at the evidence and take a view to keep the marketplace usable, but we are not an arbitrator and our view does not decide your legal rights against each other.
11. Availability and liability
We work to keep Flixerpay running, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and parts of it depend on Uphiva, Paystack and the social platforms. The service is provided "as is" to the extent the law allows.
Flixerpay is not liable for loss of profit, loss of opportunity, or indirect or consequential loss. Where we are liable, our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the fees you paid Flixerpay in the three months before the claim, or ₦50,000. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under Nigerian law.
Because bounties settle on the Uphiva rail, disputes about a wallet, a transfer or a balance are between you and Uphiva.
12. Changes, ending your account, and law
We may change these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect; continuing to use Flixerpay after that means you accept it.
You may stop using Flixerpay at any time and ask us to delete your account (see the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Obligations that should survive (payment for work already approved, content licences already granted, and the limits above) survive the account ending.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the Nigerian courts have jurisdiction. If any part is unenforceable, the rest still applies.
