UGC creator jobs in Nigeria: how you get paid
Last updated 20 September 2026. Figures on this page are checked against the live board.
UGC creator work is paid per post rather than per month. A brand posts a campaign with a bounty, you claim it, you make the post, and you are paid in naira when the brand approves it. There is no follower minimum and nothing to apply for.

What a UGC creator does
A UGC creator makes content for a brand in their own voice rather than in the brand's. A sixty second reel explaining what an app does, a photo of a product being used, a short piece to camera about a service you actually pay for.
The work is judged on whether it reads as a real person talking about a real product. That is the thing brands are buying, and it is why the size of your following matters less here than it does for an advertising deal. What a micro-influencer is covers where that term came from. Naija English is welcome, and a phone camera is the normal tool.
How this differs from classic UGC work
Worth being precise, because the two arrangements are sold under the same name and they pay differently.
In the classic arrangement a brand pays you for a file. You make the video, hand it over, and the brand runs it as an ad from its own account. Your audience is not involved and you may never post it at all.
On Flixerpay you post to your own accounts. The published link is what proves you delivered, which is also what makes approval quick and the payment automatic. If you were looking for work where you hand over footage and never post it, that is a different arrangement and this is not it.
Platforms currently supported are Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and WhatsApp TV.
What you need before you start
- A phone and an account you already post from. No equipment beyond that.
- An Uphiva account. It is the only way to sign in, and it registers you at the same time, so there is no separate form to fill in.
- At least one connected social account. Your reach is read from it rather than typed in by you. This is what a brand prices against.
- A niche you can speak to. Campaigns are filtered by niche and platform, so saying what you cover is what puts the right ones in front of you.
There is no application, no portfolio review and no waiting list.
Getting your first bounty
- Sign in with Uphiva and connect the accounts you post from.
- Browse open campaigns. Each one shows its bounty, its brief, its deadline and how many slots are left before you claim anything.
- Claim one that fits. Claiming reserves a slot, so do it when you intend to make the post rather than to browse.
- Make it in Studio. The claim opens with the brand's kit, a drafted caption you can rewrite, and the deadline on your calendar.
- Publish it. The published link becomes your proof of delivery automatically. There are no screenshots to send.
- The brand approves and the bounty is released in naira.
Only approved work is paid. A brief that asks for sixty seconds and gets fifteen can be sent back, so read the brief before claiming rather than after posting. One revision is normal and is not a rejection.
What it pays and when
Each campaign states its bounty up front, before you claim it, and on Flixerpay they start at ₦5,000 per approved post. You are never bidding and never quoting.
Payment is per approved deliverable rather than per view. A post that does well does not pay more and a post that does quietly does not pay less, which means your earnings depend on how many campaigns you claim and finish rather than on how an algorithm treats you that week.
Money settles in naira on the Uphiva rail. Flixerpay runs the campaign and never holds or moves the funds, so what you are owed does not sit with us.
Getting picked more often
- Connect your accounts properly. Verified reach comes from the connection rather than from a number you type, and a brand choosing between two claims will take the one it can check. How to prove your reach to brands covers what counts as proof.
- Finish what you claim. Approved work earns XP and moves you up the leaderboard. Seasons reset, so somebody starting this month can still top it.
- Pick campaigns in your actual niche. A brief answered by somebody whose audience already cares is the one that gets approved without a revision.
- Read the brief twice. Most revisions are a detail in the brief that was skipped rather than a judgement about the work.

Questions
What is a UGC creator?
A UGC creator makes content for a brand in their own voice rather than in the brand's. The work is judged on whether it reads as a real person talking about a real product, which is why brands buy it, and it is why the size of your following matters less here than it does for an advertising deal.
Do I need a lot of followers to be a UGC creator in Nigeria?
No. There is no follower minimum on Flixerpay. Your reach is read from the accounts you connect rather than typed in by you, so a small audience that is real is worth more to a brand than a large one it cannot verify.
How much do UGC creators earn in Nigeria?
Each campaign states its own bounty before you claim it, and on Flixerpay they start at ₦5,000 per approved post. You are paid per approved deliverable rather than per view, so what you earn depends on how many campaigns you claim and finish rather than on how a post performs.
Who owns the content a UGC creator makes?
You keep ownership and copyright in what you make. When a brand approves and pays for a deliverable, it gets a non-exclusive licence to use that deliverable to promote itself. Anything broader, including exclusivity, whitelisting or paid amplification, has to be agreed separately in the campaign.
